The class of 2028 came together to host the first-ever Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day at LECOM at Elmira.
A red rose was given to every member of the staff and faculty as a token of the students' gratitude for their compassionate, holistic approach to education.
A fond farewell to Victoria Taylor, who is moving to LECOM Health after working in the Clinical Education Department at LECOM. Victoria will work in the Graduate Medical Education Office as the Psychiatry Residency Coordinator.
Best wishes, Victoria!
Thank you to LECOM Erie for being a wonderful home away from home! Between the thoughtfulness of the faculty, the kindness of the students, friendship of all my neighbors throughout the Erie community, I wouldn’t ask to be anywhere else!

LECOM 5K: Building Community
My roommates and I ran the LECOM 5K together, and it was such a rewarding experience to see our classmates, faculty, and community come together outside the classroom.

Starting the day with some interesting surgeries and getting ready to scrub in and assist our attending physician. LECOM offers numerous clinical opportunities to learn, as well as a chance to create lifelong friendships.

This picture is from the campus tour that I took. It feels like that wasn’t very long ago, and it's amazing how much I've learned in a few short months since then. LECOM Seton Hill’s Problem-Based Learning pathway is an innovative approach to learning medicine.

I took part in an after-school endodontic event where we practiced accessing canals on molars using the endodontic microscope. I really enjoyed these hands-on sessions exploring different techniques and learning the precision needed for endodontic treatment.

One of the student clubs that I’m a part of at LECOM is DO2 Max, which hosts a variety of physical activities and events. On this hot day, the other members of DO2 Max and I had the opportunity to do a three-mile run with Dr. Kulesza and his daughter!

First-year student Eve Giancarlo adds, "Everyone is different in how they learn, whether it's through videos, reading, or Anki, but LECOM at Elmira offers an incredible number of resources."

Beach Break
Watching the sunset with my friends at Presque Isle in Erie as a break from studying for boards!
Super grateful for these moments together and the friends I've made at LECOM.
