It's easy to say "Amen" when the message fits our lifestyle, but what happens when the Truth makes us unpopular?

I was talking to someone the other day who was struggling with what he called, “conversation starters.” How about this one: “So….tell me your life story.” You’ll get a pretty good instant diagnosis for things like narcissism, humility, self-awareness, authenticity, and a host of other things that will instantly present themselves. Sit back, listen, and learn.
Beloved, if you have forgotten your Lord—(and perhaps some of you may, during this week, have been forgetting him,—it is no unusual thing)—think of him again, and you shall find a well of water close to you.
“Accountability is essential. It just needs to be wrapped in love.”

When we open God’s Word, we’re not just reading—we’re feasting on truth that strengthens our heart, renews our mind, and revives our spirit.
As you open your Bible today, let it fill you with truth, strength, and peace.
You don’t have to guess whos safe — scripture gives you the blueprint.
David said: I will not trust a liar, a slanderer, or a narcissist. But the faithful? The blameless? Those are the ones worth letting into your world.
Stop trusting based on charm. Start trusting based on the fruit they produce.
Forgiveness is a process. You can forgive someone and still feel the sting. You can extend grace and still need time. You can release someone — and still need repair.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean trust. Trust has to be earned.
Don’t rush what needs to be rebuilt.
Forgiveness isn’t the finish line… Healing is.
How precious is this Saviour! How justly is he entitled to the chief place in the hearts of those who know him! In the work of salvation, from the first step to the last, he is all in all.
- John Newton
It’s easy to let problems take over our thoughts—but peace comes when we shift our focus. Like David, we can find strength and calm by setting our hearts on who God is, not just what we’re going through. He is steady, strong, and always near.
