What I saw wasn't an election - it was an auction.
Cash in one hand, fear in the other.

Caste louder than character. Religion turned into a lever, not a bridge.

Right before both states voted, something quieter happened on paper. Bihar's voter list lost 65 lakh names in one sweep. Bengal lost close to 91 lakh. Over 1.5 crore people erased from the one document

that makes a citizen count timed just before the ballot.

Call it cleanup. I call it a democracy editing its own voters out of its own story.

I don't want to hand my children this inheritance. I want a country they never have to explain away.

Right now, that hope feels thin.

But thin isn't gone. We don't accept defeat,
not while the vote still counts.
