Repeal The Online Safety Act!
Educating the public on the modern tech landscape is a much more effective solution in preventing harmful content
Teaching the public on how to secure their own networks is much more effective solution in preventing children accessing harmful content
@PlayStation Big yikes, This is a really bad look on an already bad image. Vote with your wallets y'all and Sony you've just killed any last goodwill you had🖕
They've taken away movies from your accounts this past week, With this change your games will be next.

To add onto the recent news that the EU has decided that The Stop Killing Games movement is not getting written into legislation (Final hope is the Digital Fairness Act):
If buying a game isn't owning, Then piracy isn't stealing.

These recent governments have cut funding for school dinners, school activities & have actively harmed their education outside school by restricting their access to learning materials like Wikipedia
Stop letting these monsters use your kids as shields while actively hurting them
We told you when they implemented The Online Safety Act that this was just a way for them to push Digital ID under the guise of "protecting the kids"
The Social Media ban for under 16's is not a ban but a thinly veiled plan to push this Digital ID thing over the finish line.
Again the government have told you that you're too thick and stupid to protect your own kids so we'll do it for you with mandatory surveillance systems while you have all just clapped and cheered.
This was never about "protecting the kids" its about controlling narratives.
'Stop Killing Games' has failed to secure new EU legislation despite having 1.3 million signatures
The EU says it “cannot propose a legal obligation” requiring publishers to keep games playable after they stop being sold commercially
Ubisoft's CEO and Shareholders have been one of the biggest vocal opposers to this legislation and the fact that the EU have done this just after meeting with them is a huge yikes...
Microsoft/Xbox is rumoured to be closing Ninja Theory, This comes a week after they announced their latest game😕
Double Fine & Compulsion games are also in the firing line.
EDUCATION ON TECH would be so much cheaper to implement & so much more effective in the long run. Run adverts daily, Have ISP's write to households telling them how to secure their networks or to ring up & ask them to do it for them.
But then how would the government profit? 🤫
With The Online Safety Act & now the Social Media ban for under 16's the Government has basically told the parents of the UK you can't raise your kids properly and if your response is to clap & cheer/handover your ID's & sign up to their systems then congrats you're a huge moron.
I say this as someone who despises Social Media and as someone who thinks kids would be better off without it in their lives but that decision should be up to the parents.
Government over reach is a huge problem and you've just given them their win/payday.
Bought the Japanese CD edition of Evanescence’s new album, “Sanctuary.”
Turns out a copy had already arrived at the office too, so now I’ve got two. 💿💿
