I always do my research! ALWAYS! That includes looking at past political alignments. Its all good though hmph. 😌 God prepped me yesterday before I even got on the bus to go back to Florida. 😏.
political dialect
When an organization's stated values don't match their documented actions, that's not nonpartisanship — that's a brand.
My score on their nonpartisan claim: F.
Not because I don't respect FAMU's legacy, mission, or students — I absolutely do. But claiming neutrality while operating with clear and documented political alignment is exactly the kind of institutional hypocrisy my campaign exists to expose — regardless of which side does it.
FAMU's students deserve a Governor who fights for them in deed — not just in survey language.
I said YES to everything that matters to their future. I prepared seriously. I consulted their own community. I showed up when powerful politicians didn't bother.
And I scored 43%.
Florida deserves authenticity over optics. Every time.

Good morning Floridians,
Strike Forward for FAMU scored me 43% and ranked me last among responding candidates. I'm addressing that directly — with receipts. 🧵 #VoteKlink#Florida2026
First — I showed up.
Byron Donalds, Paul Renner, Jay Collins, and James Fishback scored 0% because they didn't respond at all. As an Independent with zero party backing running under extremely difficult personal circumstances, I completed that survey in full. Showing up matters.
And I didn't just show up — I prepared.
I come from up north where HBCUs aren't part of the educational landscape. Rather than answer from ignorance, I did what any serious candidate should do — I researched HBCU history and culture, educated myself on FAMU's specific mission and legacy, and consulted with an actual FAMU graduate before submitting my responses.
That's called respect. That's called preparation. That's what a Governor does.
Meanwhile career Florida politicians with decades in the state couldn't find the time to respond at all.
Here are my actual answers:
✅ Commitment to FAMU as Florida's leading HBCU: YES
"I support FAMU's continued recognition and funding as Florida's leading public HBCU. Coming from a multicultural family, I want every student to have the opportunity to attend an institution like FAMU."
✅ Preserving Legacy and Heritage: YES
"I commit to protecting FAMU's historic and cultural legacy in state education policy. Its contributions remain central to Florida's higher education landscape."
✅ Support HBCU Statewide Initiatives: YES
"I support statewide policies that recognize and strengthen Florida's HBCUs in education and economic development strategies."
✅ Student Access and Affordability: YES
"As a first-generation college student who overcame extreme poverty and barriers I still face today, I understand these struggles intimately. Every qualified student deserves to succeed based on merit, hard work, perseverance, and determination — not circumstances."
✅ Administrative Autonomy: YES
"Public universities like FAMU should have stronger administrative autonomy. Autonomy is a two-way street — paired with full transparency and accountability, creating a productive working relationship built on integrity."
✅ Board of Trustees Autonomy: YES
"I commit to appointing members who reflect experience, respect for the institution's mission, and a strong commitment to academic integrity, transparency, honesty, accountability, and authentic character. I will not appoint anyone corrupt, biased, or lacking integrity."
✅ Institutional Partnerships: YES
"I support expanded partnerships between FAMU, state agencies, private industry, and nonprofits — each demonstrating clear long-term benefits to humanity, with full transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes."
So why 43%?
My answers were penalized for governance language — words like accountability, transparency, and case-by-case evaluation. That's not conditional support. That's how responsible governance actually works for ALL Florida institutions. Apparently speaking like a governor instead of a partisan scores against you on this rubric.
Now here's the deeper irony.
Strike Forward for FAMU claimed to evaluate candidates on:
• Governance & Oversight ✓
• Institutional Stability ✓
• Student Access & Opportunity ✓
• Respect for Mission & Legacy ✓
That is my campaign platform. Word for word. I answered YES to every single one of their priorities — and scored 43%.
They also claimed to be nonpartisan. Let's examine that.
• Democrat Val Demings specifically campaigned at FAMU during homecoming week
• FAMU alumnus Andrew Gillum ran as the Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate
• The institution has been publicly described as a center of anti-Republican political mobilization
• Top scorers on their own scorecard were overwhelmingly Democratic candidates
• A write-in candidate scored higher than me — not because they support FAMU more, but because they spoke the right
Donations are not exclusive to Florida! Iowan's I came back after 12 years for one single purpose and I accomplished that. While back here on vacation I am saddened to see Iowa fall further behind and forgotten. 12 years gone and my hometown of Sioux City has been hit the hardest. Many shuttered buildings and homes. The Midwest is known for busting their behind to support the rest of this country but we are often left behind and forgotten until the next election! I WILL NEVER FORGET WHERE I CAME FROM! ITS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT PRAYER I CONSISTENTLY PRAY AND ASK GOD TO FOREVER REMIND ME OF!! YOU DESERVE BETTER AS WELL AND I CAN PROMISE YOU RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA IS JUST THE BEGINNING! I want the people of this country to see their worth as I see it! As God sees it. We deserve better! We deserve MORE! We are constantly left behind holding the pieces of broken promises from those at the top that claim they fight for us. But that is never true. That's why there are so many anti-establishment people in the Midwest and across the country! All my life I have been rejected, abandoned, abused, ignored, called a liar and more. When everyone said I was worthless GOD SAID I WAS WORTHY AND HELPED ME SEE MY WORTH! I invested in myself IN SPITE OF EVERY NAYSAYER that told me I would never amount to shit. I have fought all 38 years of my life for that more and I am not where near done! Stand up and see your worth! Realize how valuable you are and fight with me!! Choose yourselves too just as I chose the people of this country time and again! I have never once betrayed anyone! When I said I was going to do something I did it. No matter the cost! No matter how much it hurt! Regardless of what I lost!! But I have been betrayed plenty! By those that called me friend, family, daughter, mom, whatever the title I was expendable to them! Yet here I still stand! Still being true to myself and who God created me to be! But can you see what I see? Will you fight for yourselves? If you stand with me I will stand with you! That is a promise! Loyalty is everything. But blind allegiance is a life sentence! One that will cost you your soul in the end. 11 days! Faith and hope as small as a mustard seed can aid God to move mountains! Reject the status quo and say enough is enough! You will be surprised by the blessings in disguise!

Good morning Florida,
"You Failed The Test"
Every candidate up on that stage took money. Not to fund a movement. Not to serve you.
To enrich themselves.
They lined their pockets with donor dollars, lobbyist money, and party funds while standing at podiums pretending to care about the people of Florida.
I took nothing. Not one dollar that wasn't mine.
Every cent spent on this campaign came from me — a woman who was financially decimated, professionally destroyed, and personally attacked. I didn't fundraise to get rich. I invested in this campaign the same way I have invested in everything in my life — out of my own pocket, out of my own conviction, out of my own refusal to be bought.
They got richer running for office.
I got poorer fighting for you.
My entire campaign was funded by one person — me. After I was financially decimated. After I was professionally destroyed. After my reputation was systematically torn apart by people who saw me coming and knew I couldn't be bought.
I lost my daughter to a system that punishes people who refuse to lie. I lost my education — 15 credits from graduation — because I refused to accept a false version of events that never happened. I refused to be bullied into silence. I refused to cave.
And I was right. Journalists are now acknowledging what I exposed years ago — the good ol' boy network. I received vindication at every turn. But vindication without support is just being right alone.
In McCracken County, someone I trusted tried to kill me — and himself. I had a recording of him threatening my life. I filed a complaint to the FBI. They ignored it. Botched it. Dismissed it like my life meant nothing.
And I kept going anyway.
While all of this was happening, Floridians trashed me. Maligned my character. Called me unqualified. Attacked someone who never once asked them for a single thing, who did everything for free so as not to burden anyone, who built every piece of this campaign herself from nothing.
You said you wanted change. But when change showed up — you backed the corrupt players anyway.
And I want to speak directly to my Christian community right now.
You are good at talking about God. You quote scripture. You say God qualifies the called. You say you want righteousness in government. You say you want someone with integrity, someone who has suffered for truth, someone who refused to compromise their character no matter the cost.
And then I showed up.
And because I didn't look how you thought God's chosen should look — because I didn't behave how you expected — you dismissed me. You felt superior. You walked right past what was standing in front of you.
This entire campaign was a test of the heart.
Not mine. Yours.
To see if those who proclaimed to love God would recognize His handiwork when it didn't come wrapped in the package they expected. To see if people who claim to want change would invest in it when it actually arrived.
Florida, you received vindication through me before you even knew it. Every institution I challenged, every corrupt system I exposed, every threat I survived — I did it for you. Without your help. Without your money. Without your belief.
They got richer running for office.
I got poorer fighting for you.
And I would do it all again.
I am Andrea Klink. I was never the candidate you expected.
I was exactly the candidate you needed.
And I paid for every word of this myself because I am letting this spread organically!!
You have a chance to change EVERYTHING! THERE IS 11 DAYS LEFT AND I AM INVESTING HALF OF MY CHECK INTO MY OWN QUALIFICATIONS FEES! ARE YOU GOING TO WALK THE WALK AND TALK THE TALK FLORIDA?! OR ARE YOU GOING TO TURN A BLIND EYE AND SAY THERE IS NO POINT!
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?" - Matthew 16:26
You're silence will be your answer! Are you going to heed the call and donate! Heed the call and invest in YOURSELVES!? I believe in you! I believe in Floridians!!
