We had a special visitor today! Willy, the therapy dog from Arlington High School, came to visit 1R. Thank you Andrea Razi-Thomas for bringing him. It made our day! 🐶

[Ms. Rae @1RFirstGraders]

We are in the final 10 days of school! Everyday we are going to pop a balloon (quietly) to reveal an activity for the day. Stay tuned for some fun! 🎈♥️

Today these scientists went to the outdoors to listen to different sounds! It was interesting to hear how the sounds around us changed when we moved to different areas👂🏼

[Ms. Rae @1RFirstGraders]

We are all smiles showing off our homemade instruments to go along with our sound science unit! 🎸🥁

[Ms. Rae @1RFirstGraders]

Thank you @molly_waitt for this book donation for our class library. We are lucky to have a teacher like you in our lives!♥️📚

[Ms. Rae @1RFirstGraders]

Research writing may be one of my favorite things to teach! We are learning so much about butterflies. @epic4kids and books from our library have been great sources of information. 🦋✏️

[Ms. Rae @1RFirstGraders]

Easy peasy for these first graders!
