Funny how the party screaming about "election integrity" is led by a president actively dismantling the Election Assistance Commission and pushing what's called the "most restrictive voting bill ever." They call it "saving America," but it sure looks a lot like saving their own hide by making it harder for inconvenient voters to cast a ballot. It’s a neat trick: accuse others of interference while you’re busy rigging the game.

Then there’s the sheer genius of weaponizing the US Postal Service to run "citizenship tests" on ballot recipients. Because, clearly, the folks delivering mail are the experts on immigration law. All while trying to trash vote-by-mail systems used by millions, disproportionately hitting Democratic voters. It’s not about preventing fraud; it's about pruning the voter rolls to their liking, especially where people already have to drive hours to vote.

And when grassroots groups actually try to expand access and educate people, they’re met with guns, unleashed dogs, and slashed tires. So much for "free and fair elections" when simply trying to register voters gets you attacked. BIG WIN ✅ A federal judge appointed by Trump himself just ordered ICE to release Karina Alvarez San Juan, a mother still nursing her 6-month-old baby, after the agency was caught detaining her in direct violation of its own policy against holding postpartum mothers 👏🏾

Judge David C. Joseph of the Western District of Louisiana looked at how she was treated and gave ICE a simple chance to justify it:

Her bond hearing had been cancelled.

Her emergency motion was denied without any explanation.

Her right to due process was thrown out the window.

She has three other children who are U.S. citizens waiting for her at home.

So the judge asked ICE to show its evidence. To explain itself. To defend what it did.

And ICE folded. The agency filed a response admitting it had nothing more to offer. No justification. No defense. No case at all.

A Trump judge saw straight through it and sent a mother back to her children.

The cruelty was the point, and this time the courts refused to let it stand.
