@RossvilleAcad We started opening Nativity bags this week. Each day we read scripture and open a bag with a character from the Christmas story. What a blessing it is to teach at a school where we can discuss the real meaning of Christmas!!

@RossvilleAcad First grade had fun Saving Fred the Worm in this STEM activity. Students had to get a gummy lifesaver from under a cup and put it around a gummy worm without touching the worm or the life saver with their fingers. They had 4 paper clips to help accomplish this.

@RossvilleAcad In 1st grade we read a story about a dog that got inspired by the words he saw. The students then went around the room and found words that inspired them. They used the words to write a short story. #thisisRtown

@RossvilleAcad I love this back to school experiment with “magic beads” (UV beads, that change colors in the sunlight). It gets the kids making predictions and thinking like scientists.
