EJ, you cannot say on TikTok that you support Black people morning, noon, and night, then in reality decide which Black people deserve your support and which ones you choose to criticize. At some point, that becomes hypocritical.
On top of that, EJ also made a video about KC’s friends, which led some people to go and harass them. They had only made one video at the beginning of the season to support their friend during a watch party.

The fact that Aniya’s mother reposted one of EJ’s posts and that EJ later made a video thanking her, in my opinion, gave him even more motivation to continue attacking KC. He may have seen it as validation of what he was saying, which reinforced the idea that he should keep targeting KC and TT.
Over time, it started to feel personal, as if he was constantly looking for another reason to put them down. Thankfully, the old videos still exist because they show what was actually said and done.

The hate toward TT also seems connected to the fact that KC chose her, while Aniya was not chosen by KC. Even choosing Carl for Aniya did not stop some people from continuing to fuel hate toward KC and TT.
That is why seeing Carl regularly like content that puts KC down while presenting himself as a better option is also concerning.
