We have reservations about this claim. In #KingsCross the night lockouts kicked in there were 4 newsagents in close proximity (one 24/7) Today there are 3 (inc. the 24/7 one). One closed @ end of lease a few months ago . Now occupied by Health Food store

At 12.30pm today all 3 of the public toilets in Fitzroy Gardens were closed, inoperable & unable to be used.

@CRAIG_CHUNG met a man who had tried to access the toilets - but was disappointed. During his visit at least 4 people had tried to access without success.

Following a report in todays @dailytelegraph members at tonights meeting resolved to urge the state government in the strongest possible terms NOT to extend the essential element of lockout laws, namely last drinks in #KingsCross and to advise @GladysB of this.

Our members joined resident Magdalena Stamos to give the Piccadilly Hotel a scrub - following complaints from residents of stink & filth at the premises.

We will write to the owners & ask they fix the cause of the stench emanating from inside the premises
