@20Hojo Do you by chance remember what the story was with the queen of spades card taped to the dugout wall in the ‘88 NLCS? I remember seeing it and the TV announcers even explaining it, but have long since forgotten said explanation.
@Roger774501171@20Hojo You should’ve won it All in 1988 with future Hall of Famer Greg Jefferies 🙄 was on 3rd base. Most overrated player 2 inches too short🤣
@Roger774501171@20Hojo I was at a day game that involved a brawl with Phillies. Juan Samuel & Tim teufel got ejected. One of the OFs had to play 2b. Fun times.
@20Hojo I know this was a week ago, but I thought to ask Hojo: what was it like watching Mookie’s insane at-bat from the circle? The tension was so high, the foul balls (some just a nick of the bat), the wild pitch(!). It must have been wild being on deck!
@hero_richie@MetJetsIes@20Hojo Check out where Buddy Harrelson is when Ray is about to score the Winning Run! Buddy almost gets to Home Plate before Ray!😊
@sweetmusic28@MetJetsIes@20Hojo At least he didn’t go to the field like the Red Sox third base coach yesterday.
Also, I interviewed Buddy Harrelson once and he’s literally the nicest interview I ever had in my whole career.
@20Hojo Darling breaking his thumb when he did was also a killer. He was absolutely dealing that night and we may never see the Pendleton homer if he doesn’t get hurt.
@20Hojo But the game was tied so we could have still won the game. And he would have beaten it out. If Buckner fielded it cleanly, he would have had to toss it to Stanley so Knight may have been able to score.
