I recorded my 76-year-old mom showing three friends - ages 95, 91, and 74 - @Tesla FSD (Supervised) for the first time, while riding together in her 2026 Model Y.

In short, they were amazed by it. 91-year-old Paul: “I was even more impressed when it slowed down and then sped up after we went through the toll booth, also stopping at red lights and starting when green.”

Tesla is already using their brand new Cortex supercomputer training cluster in Giga Texas (video of it below). Tesla FSD V13 is the first fully new version of FSD to use Cortex (Tesla says 5x training compute scaling with V13).

Tesla increased its AI training compute by 75% in Q3 thanks to 29,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs they installed at Giga Texas last quarter – and expected to have 50,000 H100 capacity by the end of October. That will eventually increase to 100,000 H100 equivalent capacity.
