@squineon @karunanundy I know women who wear burqa to hide the bruises from the Slaps their Husbands gave them the previous night... bcos the Roti wasnt round enough. And the dal wasnt tasty enough.
@coolfunnytshirt@ShekharGupta Disgusted... as a woman i shudder to think what that woman would have gone through.
This is the dread... the nightmare of every woman.
It's now going to be mainstreamed in Sharia Law.
But Indian wokes will be happy that Imran Khan and Taliban give press conferences... 😢
@BBCYaldaHakim@AmrullahSaleh2 Yalda- a big fan of your reporting.
Not many people know you are a refugee from Afghanistan too. And how much Afghan independence means to you.
As a fellow woman reporter, i appreciate the struggles you have been through in your life.
Inshallah your dreams will come true.
@ItsShubhangi Also my Tamil/Tamizh fellow citizens- who take pride in Tamil culture & look down upon Hindi/North Indians.
Look at the Taliban.
And have gratitude. Tamizh culture flourished w/o interference is bcos of North Indian warriors that died at the borders stopping these barbarians.
@swati_gs Actually - People who use the term "Hindu Taliban" ... are not just trying to delegitimize Hinduism.
They are also trying to legitimize Taliban.
It's a critical point. And important to understand.
@coolfunnytshirt Meanwhile Sidin taking advantage & deliberately trying to create an equivalence between Hindus.. and Taliban anti-woman extremism.
That's the agenda of these liberals. Never miss an opportunity to demean Hinduism.

Man. Was googling some old column for a reference. And was reminded that in 2008 Shriya Saran publicly apologised to Hindus and Tamilians acros the state for wearing this dress to a film function. (It was apparently insulting to culture.)
