So excited to have this back! Tons of new titles for all ages. Cookbooks, sports, fiction, history, craft kits, holiday items, and more! Great gift ideas. The fair is open to the community.
STEAM Lab is open! Classes are getting the chance to see what’s in the lab. We heard lots of great feedback from the kids. My favorites so far are “WOW! Just Wow!” and “That maker cart is right up my alley!”
The school libraries are so proud of our BHS Tigers! Apparently, so is our MM Library elf, Jingles! Such a naughty elf! He returned today with a bunch of items he “borrowed” from BHS to show our “Little Tigers” how proud he is of all our “Big Tigers”! We are full of Tiger Pride!
We are opening our MM STEAM Lab this week!!! MM students will get time in there starting tomorrow and we are kicking off our new after school “We Got STEAM” program for BMS students.
The Byron school libraries are extra thankful this month. We would not be the same without our amazing BHS Achieve program workers or our dedicated volunteer, Sue Voiles! Thank you for all you do for our libraries!
Love being a part of our Veteran’s Day celebration. It is an honor to set the white table for the celebrations at middle BMS and BHS! We had some awesome scouts helping out too!
Our Lego Mindstorm kits have arrived for BMS!!! Can’t wait to get them unpackaged, cataloged, and ready to be used. Thank you to the Bayer Fund (formerly Monsanto) for approving our grant request!
I am so excited to share with you that our DonorsCoose grant reached its goal last night! Our STEAM Lab will be fully stocked with supplies. Thank you to all who donated. Our kiddos are going to have so much fun in the lab!
We have received postcards from several places in the U. S. And also from Stockholm and Scotland! If you would like to send us a postcard telling us about your adventures we would love it!!! You can send them to: Mary Morgan Students, 420 N Colfax St., Byron, IL 61010, USA
The theme in the Mary Morgan Library is Adventures in Reading with a focus on where reading can take us. I asked everyone to share my posts with family and friends in hopes of getting postcards from all over the world and I am so excited to say they have started arriving!
