🚨INTERVIEW DRAMA: Sadie Sink accidentally ROASTS Tom holland, Zendaya didn’t look too happy about it 👀😭
Interviewer: Is it hard to fend off questions from your friends?
Sadie Sink: Not really. Just keep your mouth shut, it's not that, it's not hard.
Tom Holland: Good advice.
Interviewer: Yeah.
Tom Holland: Good advice. I've heard that many times. Many times.
Zendaya: You would think.
Tom Holland: Yeah, right. Bit of a whole decade of that, hasn't it?
Ryan Reynolds says he had to take it upon himself to become a writer in Deadpool and Wolverine for it to be a hit.
Andrew Garfield: "...first of all, I'm wondering how you had the audacity to write in such a fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth wall-breaking kind of vibe, and then how did you convince everyone that it would work?"
Ryan Reynolds: "That's a good question. I look at authorship and control, or however you want to frame it, as trust. Part of my job—several parts of the job—is that I have to convince the studio, who is making a significant investment in mine and Shawn Levy's ability to land the plane on a dime, and our job is to return that investment.
That really is a big construct of this business, and it's something that I found quite illuminative when it really snapped in 10 years ago to me that that is a part of the job.
I spent a long time doing—and I still want to revisit it—work and roles that were incredibly fulfilling, nuanced, different, unexpected, charactery... but movies that were received really well by maybe critics, but not audiences.
And I thought, if I want to continue to play and do this, I have to figure out how to work both sides of the room here and make sure that part of my job is choosing work that will beget more of this experience that I love."
Andrew Garfield says people shouldn’t financially support J.K. Rowling, but Harry Potter’s other artists shouldn’t be discarded because of her
“Honestly, I hadn’t watched the Harry Potters until recently”
Host: “How’d you not?”
Andrew: “No. And he’s really good in those Harry Potter movies. Those Harry Potter movies are really good. I really like them”
“I know it’s controversial, and we shouldn’t be putting money in the pocket of inhumane legislation right now”
“But the soul and the spirit of a lot of the essence of the themes of those films, and the kids, and all the artisans and the craft people…”
“I’m working with a wonderful makeup artist, Claire, right now who was working in the creature workshop”
“I’m just like, ‘Oh man, we can’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.’ There are so many beautiful artists that worked on those films”
“Anyway, I have a newfound appreciation for all of the artists. Daniel’s great”
