Finn Dunshee breaks Hayden’s longstanding 100m record at the Bob Camien/ Claudia Welch Invitational. Dunshee runs a 10.72 breaking the Hayden school record he tied last year that was set in 1972 and 1985. Dunshee also holds the Hayden school record in the 4 X 1 and 4 x 4 with teammates Stegman, Schrikel, and Muller. Hayden’s track and field program has been transformed under the coaching team of Lilly and DeJuan Gardenhire. Dunshee won titles in 4A last season and Hayden has bumped down to 3A for 2024 season. 10.72 is the seventh best time in all classes of Kansas and #1 in 3A. He was also an all state football player from Sports in Kansas in the fall in leading his team to a 3A RU finish. #sportsinkansas
