The @24PrecinctCC was proud to honor Asst. Chief Aaron Edwards for his courage at a protest when IEDs were thrown into a crowd.

We also honored Officer Nilda Quezada, who was inches from the device when it was thrown.

Their bravery shows the very best of the Department.

That day, the @FDNY lost 343, @PANYNJ lost 37, NYPD lost 23, and many others continue to suffer from illnesses related to 9/11.
