2 students from our own unit qualified on the Scania 6x6 today, this makes all of our unit NCOs 6x6 qualified drivers now. Trailer work next in preparation for a DROPs course in early part of the new year, well done 👏🏻 today 🇮🇪

Back to driving, Off road and trailer work CPD for current drivers and training for new drivers on Mod 2A and 2B courses, warm weather reduced the water obstacles but we still found enough to make the training worthwhile 🇮🇪🇮🇪

After being awarded their 3 Star rank today in Cathal Brugha Bks the Director of Tpt Col Norton presented our newest transport members with their unit lanyards and commemorative coin which celebrates 100 years of the transport corps existence 🇮🇪 @dfreserve

Really looking forward to tomorrow, joint passing out of our CBB Corps units and 1 MIC DFTC 2-3 star platoon. This combined our tactical training and associated modules to deliver excellent 3 star soldiers to the reserve units involved. @goc_dftc @garskinn @2BdeGoc

The last module of our 3 star course ended this weekend with our Battlefield First Aid course, lots of very useful skills learned by our 50 troops from CBB Corps units and DFTC line units, 3 star rank qualification is in sight 🇮🇪 @dfreserve @garskinn @2BdeGoc

Back to driver training !!! Our module 2A and 2B courses continue this weekend for our new personnel, be excellent at the basics and the rest should follow on from there 🇮🇪

Over the last 2 weeks instructors and staff from 2 Bde Tpt teamed up with 1 MIC colleagues to deliver tactical training for 50+ troops from CBB and DFTC Army Reserve units 🇮🇪

Weekend 2 of the CBB Corps units joint 3 Star training course run in conjunction with our 1 MIC colleagues in DFTC, this block demonstrated field shelters and survival as well as more platoon tactical training. @dfreserve @2BdeGoc

7.62mm full metal jacket !! The training paid off as our bravo recruit platoon fired their General Purpose Machine Gun range practice on a dry and bright Gorminston range today 🇮🇪 another step towards the two star qualification completed 🇮🇪👍🏻✅ @dfreserve @garskinn @naval_service
