Cradle-to-gate analysis: we evaluate the impacts from #rawmaterial extraction to component production, guiding the transitions to a circular and #sustainable #battery economy ♻️.

Sustainable supply chain: after identifying key raw materials for battery production, @CleopaGmbH has provided an evaluation of alternative suppliers that align with #SDGs and #ESG goals, with the aim to establish a resilient and sustainable value chain for the 2boSS battery.

Specifically, these are the processes for which @PoliTOnews have developed various datasets:
🔹Growth of silicon nanowires on graphite supports. 🔹Production of porous carbon from biomass waste. 🔹Development of advanced anode and cathode materials.

Reliable data: we gather primary data from lab activities in Grenoble & Barcelona (@cea_grenoble & @IREC_Energia ), and secondary data from literature to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Additionally, we have cooperated with #industry players to get info from leading producers.

As the #battery industry grows, so does the need for #sustainability & transparency. The 2BoSS project addresses this by creating a detailed Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) 📄 for lithium-sulfur (LiS) batteries, revealing insights on materials, #energy, emissions & waste 🔋

The 2BoSS project supported the In Situ and Operando Workshop at @ALBAsynchrotron, co-organized by our project partners at @IREC_Energia. The workshop brought together + 100 experts in battery research, energy storage, chemical processes, and advanced materials.
