There are Republicans waiting in the wings, waiting for their turn to dismantle democracy.
We are watching. And so is the world.
First, Trump’s lawyers ask House Judiciary Republicans to interfere in the NYC prosecution of Trump.
Now, they want House Intel to interfere with DOJ’s investigation of obstruction at Mar-a-Lago.
Both ask Congress to abuse its authority to protect Trump.
Neither will succeed.

Recently in Oklahoma, a woman’s molar pregnancy became cancerous. Molar pregnancies usually do not produce a fetus and, in the cases in which they do, the fetus is not viable. No matter what the doctors had done in this case, there would have been no baby. And yet, when Jaci Statton went to the emergency room—in pain and bleeding heavily—hospital staff told her to wait in the parking lot until she became so ill doctors would have no choice but to treat her.
“Unless you are crashing in front of us or your blood pressure goes so high that you are fixing to have a heart attack,” she was told, we cannot help you.
Republicans do not care that someone who has an unviable pregnancy will DIE if they don’t have access to an abortion. Republicans don’t care if denying health care results in infertility.
The platform of the Republican Party is cruelty; it is misogyny; it is control.
And we need to fight against them with all of our strength.
