@merrivius According to taxonomy: any two creatures that can interbreed whos offspring aren't sterile are considered the same species.
Since half elves can reproduce, this means elves are humans.
Since dwarves can also interbreed, but always make dwarves, this means elves are dwarfs too.

@PeachSaliva No idea, but I'd recommend the gaunt's ghosts books, sons/scions of the emperor, helsreach, or Damocles (and on the WH fantasy side) Drachenfels or the gotrek and felix books.
