With this release, desktop 3D printing enters its endgame:

✅ Abrasion-resistant nozzle (INDX)

✅ Low-latency temperature control with induction heating and low-mass nozzle. Fast heat-up and fast cool-down (INDX)

✅ Dynamic dual-drive gear with large diameter. The grip strength self-adjusts based on the loaded material on pickup (INDX)

✅ Class-leading loadcell mesh calibration

Happy I can finally share this ..been running indx on my v2 350 for a while now ..made a new gantry for it so I can mount all the indx tools on the rear instead of the front...with a nice RGB cover to hide the rear of the toolhead..it turned out really nice so far

@MandicReally Unfortunately, the analogy to cars or custom computer builds stops mainly at hardware and 3d printing has a lot more room for innovation on software and materials. There will be less forking of slicers and slower firmware development. Cura and Marlin FW are practically dead.

@CanuckCreator It would make sense if it is for continuous fiber and the second hot end is just for melting the coating on the fiber. More like an X2C instead of X2D, or a new letter like X2F for fiber.

Once the other product goes out of stock as well, if the price of the component is still the increased $5, then to make more of that product you will have to raise the price of that product as well. @3D_Fuel @DIYMaker_Johan If they are waiting to sell existing inventory before raising prices, that is a good pro consumer thing to do, but that would mean that the price increase for other printers and filaments will be equally as high. So 3D printing is not in a good spot it seems at the moment.

@Prusa3D What about the CORE One+? No price increase there? What is the reasoning behind not raising the price of both CORE models by 100? Is the reason for the increase the price of aluminium (print bed)?

@dddpworld @Prusa3D It is not the steepness really, it's the width. I had to reach the box from above and back because my hands would not fit from both sides at the same time to grab the plastic handles.

After years of using @Prusa3D machines, finally I have one at home. Very nice user experience especially on the software side. I was still in the MK3S+ era and there are significant leaps with the Core One L. Moving it up narrow Dutch stairs was not the easiest I must admit 😅
