3. Common themes of storytelling include emotion, relatability, building tension/suspense, authenticity, and urgency. Some techniques are used here; the suspense of not knowing what happens to our hero, relating to the emotions he feels, the urgency behind the music, etc.

Memes are a new(ish) form of communication, allowing individuals to easily express their feelings, typically in a funny way. They are often used as a relatable way to discuss one's issues, giving them a humorous spin that makes them easier to talk about and share. #EXSM3989

When learning about gifs this week, I found it interesting how gifs can express many more of our emotions than text can. I realized that I tend to use gifs often to really show what I want to say, especially feelings that are hard to put into words! #EXSM3989

Digital storytelling has given us endless possibilities regarding how stories can be told and shown. For example, this Star Wars character guide is a fun, simple, and interactive way to learn about some characters of the Star Wars universe! #EXSM3989

The page also allows you to order the characters by factors including species, allegiance, and appearance, further simplifying the process. Although I do wish this tool showed more star wars characters, it is a neat page that can help explain Star Wars in an easy way! #EXSM3989
