What annoys me about the @GovernmentZA is the apparent double standard. White racists like Phil Craig, Peet and Mel Viljoen and those doos from AfriForum can make highly controversial statements and pursue campaigns that many South Africans view as damaging to the country’s image, yet there seems to be little urgency from the state. But the moment ordinary Black South Africans organize marches or protests around issues affecting their communities, they’re quickly labeled vigilantes and threatened with the full force of the law. These people should’ve had their citizenships revoked. They said horrible things about South Africa and its citizens. They shouldn’t have been allowed into the country. I wish all the bad things they claimed in this video to happen to them for real!

Congratulations to Sipho Chaine — the shot-stopper now holds the all-time PSL record for the most clean sheets in a single season after reaching an incredible 21 shutouts during the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign. 👏☠️
A season of consistency.
A record written into South African football history.

A vandal was found trapped inside a mini substation at the corner of Turtlehurt Street and Helpmekaar Road in Roodepoort, West Rand, earlier this morning while trying to damage electrical infrastructure.
City Power teams responded after private security reported the incident shortly after 08:00, and the man was safely removed before being arrested.
Police are also pursuing other suspects believed to be linked to the incident.
As a safety measure, electricity supply to parts of Fleurhof was temporarily switched off during the rescue and repair operation, with power to be restored once the network is declared safe.
City Power said the case forms part of a growing pattern of organised vandalism in the Roodepoort area.
According to the utility, this was the third mini substation vandalised in Fleurhof during April alone.
Since the start of the year, 16 mini substations have been targeted across Roodepoort, with replacement costs estimated at between R700,000 and R800,000 per unit, excluding labour.

WATCH:
Did you know South Africa is the only nation on Earth permanently occupying the most strategic "dead zones" of the Southern Ocean? 🌍🇿🇦
While we own Marion Island, we are the exclusive operators of Gough Island (a UK territory). No one else is there. Just us.
The Brave Few:
❄️ Marion: ~18 SA researchers
❄️ Gough: ~10 SA specialists
The Mission: These islands sit in the "Weather Factory" of the planet. Because most Southern Hemisphere storms are born here, our teams provide the pulse for:
✅ Global long-range forecasts 📉
✅ Critical data for international shipping & aviation 🚢✈️
✅ Early warning systems for extreme climate shifts ⛈️
Without these South Africans living in total isolation, the global community would be flying blind.
We are the world’s eyes in the middle of nowhere. What a country!!! #ProudleSA 🇿🇦
