If Andy Dalton hadn’t gotten injured he’d still be the #Bears QB.
Think about that if you’re having second thoughts on whether the team has to clean house.
I know everyone takes these Packers games personally but the opponent doesn't really matter. This season is about Fields' development and there were many positive signs today. He just needs to keep stacking the positives, week-by-week.
Kind of amazing how fantasy talk has permeated actual NFL talk. I have heard a dozen times this week the Bears haven’t begun utilizing Justin Fields as a runner yet.
Fields is NOT a runner. He’s NEVER been a runner. He’s a big-armed QB who uses his mobility when necessary.
Right now is a moment to be 100% positive as a Bears fan.
(1) They won.
(2) Fields is in now.
(3) The defense played like they give a shit.
This can be a fun season.
Trey Lance’s first pass of his NFL career comes in the first quarter of his first game AND GOES FOR A TOUCHDOWN and the Bears have convinced so many of you Justin Fields should sit for Andy Dalton. It’s infuriating.
When your kids are watching highlights of Baylor-Gonzaga this morning, make sure they don’t miss plays like this, which they won’t find on the stat sheet, but mean just as much
George Kittle after the 49ers boosted the Bears’ playoff hopes: “I will say this: I did grow up a Bears fan. And the fact that we helped the Bears makes me a little happier. ... Da Bears! (Off mic) I f—ing love the Bears.” https://t.co/Eew0ePWrZ0
