We heard the very sad news that Bill Rollins, the host of "The Teatime Special" has passed after a short illness. Bill's shows were very popular and he also created a fantastic Pirate Radio special.

RIP Bill, a great bloke, gentleman and radio scholar.

We just heard, and it is with great sadness that one of our popular DJ’s when we were operational, Mike Landecker has passed.

Our sincerest condolences to his wife, Alisa and their family.

His show was a great example of the theater of the mind.

Then @Nationwide say “call this number for help”. It’s an excruciating loop of hell. No way to talk to a human. Has no resemblance to web access. The best I get is “1 for text on how to setup web access”.

There must be a Vice President of No or maybe a Chief No Officer.

@StephanieHirst @therealbrunoB That’s exactly what I did in Cleethorpes in the 70s. I actually built my own mixer, and used a Tandy 65 in 1 electronics kit to produce an MW station. Ironically I ended up with a career in broadcast engineering in both sides of the Atlantic. I just DJ now because I can. 😀

@AshMariMakeup @Shpigford It’s the practice behind it that pissed me off. Agree a minimum year, after 15 months decide its time to cancel. Whoops, you’re committed to another year when you rolled into month 13. That is what made me go Final Cut Pro, Motion, Affinity, @pixelmator etc. Saved more than Geico
