@McGracing Pre war 39 there used to be an Oct flat meet at Sandown when the Atalanta was run. There wasn't any flat racing at Sandown until 1947 when that Oct then became a 2 day meet and new races added. The Solario was added, as a Homage to the great racer + sire who died in 1945.
