There must be a free vote in Parliament on Digital ID.

No whips. No party line. No pressure from Downing Street.

This is too big to be imposed without real debate and a proper open vote.

Digital ID would be one of the most far-reaching changes to the relationship between the state and the citizen in modern British history.

Every MP must be free to look at the evidence, listen to their constituents, and vote how they decide.
