The UK will ban support for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that the government is designating the IRGC, under the new National Security Act.
This gives law enforcement powers to crack down on anyone providing material, financial, or other support to the group, with penalties up to 14 years in prison.
