@vshq8@Giovanni_zal@Turki_alalshikh We love a good certificate in the westโฆ.its as thought it didnโt happen if you donโt have a certificate โฆ. From birth to death
@EddieCrouch@TheBMA@TheBDA My point more widely is that if we really want major contractual reform - we need to mean business and learn from those in our space that have achieved change
@EddieCrouch@TheBMA@TheBDA This is not correct. BMA over last 20 years have negotiated major money, structural contract changes, and national settlements for both employed doctors and self-employed GP contractors. Whilst BDA may have shaped the debate it has not managed contractual leverage in 20 years
@el_dentisto@TheBDA@EddieCrouch For real reform you need to take real action. @TheBMA could guide @TheBDA on how to take action and get change. Or are the members of the @TheBDA happy to keep a failed contract ๐ค
@el_dentisto@TheBDA@EddieCrouch I agree it should be but a good basic service but it has never been for everyone, at its best funded half of uk. The current NHS contract was imposed on the profession 20yrs ago. Since then no progress in โnegotiationsโ to reform the โnot fit for purposeโ contract.
@el_dentisto@TheBDA@EddieCrouch Not technically what was said and Itโs important that the private dental industry is not conflated with the NHS. The BDA would do well to shift its focus to the private sector.
18-year-old Ayyoub Bouaddi in his WC debut vs Brazil:
-91% pass accuracy (60/66)
-100% pass accuracy in the final third (16/16)
-6 ball recoveries
-5 interceptions
-9 duels won
A star is born ๐ซ
@SKinnock number or new uk graduates wonโt touch it - letโs escalate registration of more overseas dentists rapidly - and ensure they have to offer 100% nhs care upon GDC registration for 5 years. This will solve the problem and you will find you wonโt have to reform your failed contract
@TheBDA@EddieCrouch The BDA has no authority to speak on behalf of private dentistry providers - particularly given they have failed to support the development of this much needed service that many patients equally depend on
@TheBDA@william_pett@HealthwatchE Govt can and will keep tinkering as long as they can get away with it. Profession needs to take industrial action - only then the govt will actโฆ.. BDA are happy to entertain tinkering for last 20 years - at this timeline it will be another 20
@TheBDA@william_pett@HealthwatchE A broken record. Govt does not need to change anything as the profession keeps delivering NHS care - until the profession takes industrial action it will not change and you should have learned from our medical professionโฆ.we will be hearing the same old in 2046โฆ
@TheBDA Interesting perhaps patients are now voting with their feet - why attend an appointment with a service not fit for purpose? For many the lived experience is that getting through to book is just as hard as cancelling
Finally something our PM can stand up for. Perhaps @Dan4Barnet this is something you could also get behind given it affects a large proportion of your constituents
Football should bring people together, not shut them out.
For the first time since the competition began, fans wonโt be able to watch the Champions League final for free. Thatโs not right.
This is bigger than wanting to watch Arsenal in this historic final. Itโs bigger than one club.
Hardworking people shouldnโt have to fork out for a subscription to watch this match.
I urge TNT Sports to reconsider and make the final next Saturday free to watch.
Nine years on from the tragic events of the Manchester Arena bombing, we remember the 22 innocent lives that were lost on that awful night.
They will never be forgotten.

@mjf_michael@SkyNews Almost 50/50 split - If you asked the 17.4M now Iโm pretty sure most would say it wasnโt a good ideaโฆ.i think another referendum on this experiment is appropriate as 10 years into it the electorate have can make an informed decision
