Alright, I wanted to share both my translation and my own thoughts on this. If you have a moment, I'd really appreciate it if you could read until the end 🙇‍♀️

Also... it's 5:30 am and I haven't slept since yesterday, so I'm keeping this in bullet points before my brain gives up

1. Sn doesn't have authority over ys. They're the same age, they're teammates, and they're equals. This wasn't a manager or trainer telling an idol to lose weight, so ys was free to take the advice or simply ignore it.

2. Ys chose to diet himself and even described it as a personal challenge. Overlooking that takes away his agency as a 27 year old adult who's fully capable of making his own decisions. I think it's important to respect that his choice was his own.

3. If you've watched sn's lives over time, you'll probably notice he's actually very consistent with his advice: "Eat what you enjoy, just work out harder". He's never encouraged starving yourself or extreme restriction. That's very different from promoting unhealthy dieting.

4. Sn is actually leaner this era rather than bulking. Physiques like Sn's and ys's aren't built through crash dieting, especially considering atz's choreography and performance schedule. It's simply not sustainable to under-eat while performing at that intensity.
