For neuro we mainly use SLA printing as these models often are autoclaved.

This week we experimented on soft tissue tumors using @formlabs 3D printers. The tumor is in a clear material that has hollowed out paths where the vessels are for reference. It is situated in the thigh and had a weight of about 4kg! #3dprint #skane #skrubben

An osteotomy is when a bone is cut to change it’s size or alignment. 3D printing gives the advantage for the surgeon to perform a test cut before proceeding to surgery. A good plan is crucial for success!
