Negro History Week started in 1926 by Father of Black History Carter Woodson. He picked the 2nd week of February to honor Frederick Douglass (who, born a slave, never knew his birthdate. Only memories of his mother calling him Valentine) and Abram Lincoln (bd 2/12/1809).

Black History from the South was being ignored for Contemporary Black voices rising in the North. So... instead of learning about Frederick Douglass or Booker T Washington... (OR THOUSANDS OF OTHERS) and the actual legacy they left...Blacks were being told to listen to modern Black Progressive voices. THE SAME BLACK PROGRESSIVE VOICES THAT TOLD BLACK PPL TO VOTE FOR RACIST DEMOCRAT WOODROW WILSON.

Negro History Week was about preserving stories, principles, faith, victories, failures, violence and allies. It was a call for Blacks, AND REPUBLICANS, to remember our ENTIRE story in the South.

White Republicans didn't heed the warning. And neither did most Black ppl.

By 1970, Black Progressives were controlling the narrative. Southern Black History was reduced to slavery and Jim Crow, nothing more. They pressured REPUBLICAN Gerald Ford to change Negro History Week into Black History Month. He does and puts the final nail in the coffin of Carter Woodson's INTENT.

Republicans helped Democrats remove the context and symbolism...reducing it to what you see now... the celebration of Oprah instead of the ancestors that built entire communities FRESH OFF THE PLANTATION.

Black History looks like Democrat History b/c they want to pretend the Carter Woodson Negro didn't exist. The CW Negroes have a legacy... and this Black History Month we need to do everything in our power to learn and share it.

Most Black communities are in Democrat controlled cities. At any point in time, they could've done for you what they are currently doing for illegal aliens. They could've sent you direct funds, organized your protection from police, bent laws to accommodate your presence. But they didn't...they took funds meant for you and reinforced their own power. They organized the police as a taxation force and protection of them from you. They implemented laws to disarm, convict and imprison you. This wasn't done by the Feds. This wasn't done by Republicans...they hate you and are NEVER coming to your community. Democrats created the atmosphere we protest...
