Two goats. One day apart. Different eras, same impact. Tupac and Kendrick Lamar, born one day apart, destined to leave their mark on hip-hop forever. ♊️♊️
Cause I’m young , black , successful , fearless and I made it without any form of tertiary education. I’m everything they fear. We were told education is the key to success. As much as that statement is true, I would like to add more truth to it and say IT IS NOT THE ONLY KEY!
I’m seeing the traction this is getting.
How about…instead of talking about how I’m not a global phenomenon, help make it happen by streaming the album I just dropped LAST WEEK? Hayikabi coz I know you folks mean well. Like actually support idk 🤷🏽♂️❤️

I want to be rich. But not Lamborghini
or Rolex rich, I want to be rich enough to go to the gym at 3pm and nobody can tell me no. To tap the family in front of me at the supermarket and say, "It's on me," Rich enough that my future wife never has to worry about getting a job. Rich enough to show my children the world, not pictures of it. Rich enough to take my friends to dinner and say, "| got this", Rich enough that God uses me to help the people who are in need. That's my version of rich.
The Menstrual Health Bill (working draft) is currently being presented in Parliament. Really proud of the Menstrual Health Coalition for putting work into this. 🇿🇦🩸
FYI: This Wednesday Parliament will be sitting to discuss the Menstrual Health Bill.
Myself and other academics, activists & organisations have spent many years drafting it and we truly hope it can be implemented. 🇿🇦 🩸
Nobody ever acknowledges how @kendricklamar must have felt watching people he once respected all stab him in his back, and continue to even today. The people he idolized and respected them as peers, only for once that he reaches uncharted territory, they can’t handle his success. I’d hate everybody too. @JColeNC does that disgust you as much as it does me? He could never celebrate a win without becoming a target.🎯 “MMTBS” made him able to not even care. I’m so glad he did that.
Jay-Z On Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show
“Watching that Kendrick show since it was the first solo rap headliner.
Yeah, for sure. He could have made it a little easier on himself. The artistic choice to play the new album was brave in front of that big of an audience. Because even if 10 million people know some of these songs, there’s 120 million people that’re like, “What is he doing?” As an artist, to stand up there and do it and complete your vision—I had to tip my hat. I had high respect for him already, but, like, even more my respect was like: He’s really about what he says he’s about.”
