This hulking male #FishingCat popped up on one of our stations! #FishingCat is one of the #eight #felines of #Bangladesh, one of the #three that still live near human settlements. It is Endangered in the country, still receiving the #leastamount of #scientific #investments.

Galloping #antelopes and wallowing #buffaloes are bygone #Bengal glories. But, #serows and a few dozen #gaurs still exist in #eastern #Bangladesh, #forgotten, #leftbehind, #struggling.
