So ya’ll said you were voting for an “America first man of the people” because he was “strong on the economy” but what you got was a foreign born billionaire who’s shutting our government down & crippling our economy at Christmas, when it will hurt YOU the most.
Well fucking done.
Our sibs who struck ATI are battling to ensure that workers never face that kind of unfair fight again. They’re advocating for laws providing unemployment compensation to keep employers from attempting to starve us into submission. Read how in our blog: https://t.co/nsXoiETsS9
USW guy re: Laborers guy handing out Rockey lit: “The building trades would vote in favor of their own execution by hanging if it meant they got the contract to build the gallows.”
@abigailgardner The 'Democrats for Rockey' sign people are interesting esp. when you see your neighborhood GQP lady holding one. Those sunglasses don't mask who you are as much as you think dear.
I'm mildly amused by the Weinstein revenge tour too.

An Alabama woman was imprisoned for “endangering' her fetus.”
Then she gave birth in a jail shower.
Sheriffs in Etowah county, Alabama, arrested Ashley Caswell on accusations that she’d tested positive for methamphetamine while pregnant and was “endangering” her fetus.
Caswell, who was two months pregnant at the time, became one of a growing number of women imprisoned in the county in the name of protecting their “unborn children”.
But over the next seven months of incarceration for “chemical endangerment” in the Etowah county detention center (ECDC), Caswell was denied regular access to prenatal visits, even as officials were aware her pregnancy was high-risk due to her hypertension and abnormal pap smears, according to a lawsuit filed on Friday against the county and the sheriff’s department.
She was also denied her prescribed psychiatric medication and slept on a thin mat on the concrete floor of the detention center for her entire pregnancy.
When her water broke and she pleaded to be taken to a hospital, her lawyer says, officials told her to “sleep it off” and “wait until Monday” to deliver – two days away.
During nearly 12 hours of labor, staff gave her only Tylenol for her pain, the suit says, allegedly telling her to “stop screaming”, to “deal with the pain” and that she was “not in full labor”.
Caswell lost amniotic fluid and blood and was alone and standing up in a jail shower when she ultimately delivered her child.
She nearly bled to death.
Republicans are Pro-Life my ass.
Last night, my forever Sister Rep Congresswoman @SummerForPA launched her re-election Camapign with the same people-powered movement that we’ve been building since 2018.
Together we are transforming government to ensure it works for all of us.
Warden Harper has created an environment of dysfunction and fear within the Allegheny County Jail for years, and I'm glad to see that those who work and reside within the jail will no longer to subject to his mistreatment.
Statement from Sara Innamorato (@Innamo) on the Resignation of Warden Harper
“I have been clear throughout my campaign for Allegheny County Executive that we need new leadership at the Allegheny County Jail."
Thankful for the opportunity to meet more of our neighbors and celebrate all that makes our communities great with @MattDugan4DA, @VenkatforPA, and our local Democratic committee 💙

Did @votefitz worry about wage compression when he gave McKain, Liptak, and Pilarski 25k raises? Or is this tantrum about @bethanyhallam outmaneuvering politically him & his inability to anoint the next @Allegheny_Co Executive. #RespectUsProtectUsPayUs
What desperate hackery on the part of team Weinstein illustrates how disconnected this candidate is with the issues that are important to working families.
I would love to see this in Strip District or Market Square, but I think at this point, not sure there's enough critical mass to support this in Pittsburgh. Maybe it would just take some bravery from city officials & it would succeed, but could see an equal chance at a backlash
These @JenKundrach-designed yard signs came out even better than we expected! We've got at least 1,000 of them to go around.
