"My wife is my wife, her past is her past. If you've ever slept with her or you know people who have slept with her, that's your problem.
Every woman has a past she surely regrets and every good human being makes mistakes, but that doesn't prevent her from being an ideal woman for another man.
I have chopped her before means nothing to us. It won't stop us from marrying. She's a class of her own, there's a queen in her.
You saw only sex, We saw FUTURE"

Samuel Eto'o's wife, Georgette Eto'o, played a significant role in supporting him throughout his football career. When they first met, Samuel was an amateur footballer struggling to get into a club in Nantes, France, while Georgette owned a small hair salon. Despite the challenges, she stood by him, offering unwavering support even when he had to return to Cameroon due to a lack of opportunities.
Her belief in his talent never wavered, and when Samuel finally got his breakthrough with Real Madrid, they started living together in Spain. Over the years, Georgette remained a pillar of strength, helping him navigate the ups and downs of his career. Samuel has even described her as "the most patient woman in the world", acknowledging her dedication and sacrifices.
WORLD Health Organisation in Zambia has taken interest in the HIV/AIDS local treatment drug called ‘Sondashi Formula’.
Sondashi Formula is a local drug developed by Ludwig Sondashi, and is believed to have the potential to cure HIV/AIDS.
Recently, Vice-President Mutale Nalumango said Sondashi Formula has progressed to advanced trial stages and emphasised Zambia’s passion for developing its own solutions.
WHO country representative Clement Lasuba said he will follow up on the drug to get more information.
He said when there is discovery of a new drug, a process of certification has to be undertaken.
“You know, I’m six months here in Zambia and I haven’t heard of that drug. But normally, there is a process. If there is a new drug, it goes through a process of certification, which is not a short one. But I could follow it up to get more information on it,” he said.

CEC POSTS $61.5M PROFIT, MARKET CAP SURPASSES $1BN
By Lovemore Sondashi
The Copperbelt Energy Corporation Plc (CEC) has reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of US$61.5 million for the half-year period ended June 30, 2025, up from US$43.2 million recorded in the same period last year.
According to the company’s unaudited financial results, the improved performance was driven by strong results across all business segments, including local and regional power sales as well as wheeling.
Revenue surged to US$360 million in the first half of 2025, compared to US$227.8 million in 2024, representing a 58 percent increase.
CEC Chief Executive Officer Owen Silavwe said the company remains committed to supporting the energy transition through renewable projects and infrastructure expansion.
Mr. Silavwe stated that during the period, the company doubled down on their efforts to contribute to the energy transition with two additional solar power plants, namely the 136MW Itimpi 2 and the 12.5MW Fitula projects, currently under construction, while the 25MW Garnerton South project is expected to reach financial close in the third quarter.
He added that CEC is advancing construction of several power connection assets to support new mining projects expected to commence commercial operations within the next 12 months.
The results mark the third consecutive half-year of sustained profit growth for the Kitwe-based utility, after recording profits of about US$30 million in 2022, US$113 million in 2023, and US$43.2 million in 2024.
CEC’s share price on the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) hit a record ZMW25.95 per share at the end of August 2025, nearly doubling from ZMW13.22 one year earlier.
In June, its market capitalization exceeded US$1 billion, the first time a locally listed company has achieved this milestone.
