Did you know, seventy years ago the 81 and 82 ERQS flew “Dumbo” missions with the SA-16 Albatross. Known as Air Rescue Sqdns, they performed the same mission as today’s Airmen perform their duties... so that others may live.

When it comes to training, the 768th EABS EOD does it right. With the help of EOD's explosives, French Forces MWD handlers were able to train their dogs to search, detect, and mark the substances in a training scenario.

Lead pilot of the Memphis Belle, Captain Robert Morgan assigned to the 324th Bombardment Squadron, thanks his ground crew for their hard work and dedication during World War II. Today this squadron is known as the 324th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron.

Did you know on Apr 25, 1944, the 409th and 416th Bomb Groups, flying A-20 light bombers, dropped 40 tons of bombs on a key enemy position between the two US landing beaches in Normandy. This raid took out a major threat to our landings in Normandy.
