I really appreciate the interaction and follows. Unfortunately my PC broke so I will have to take time to save and purchase a new one. I'll be passively active. I love my team, Draft, and NFL. A tip of the cap to all football fanatics.
Carlos Mendoza did not get rid of Pete Alonso, David Stearns did.
Carlos Mendoza did not get rid of Brandon Nimmo, David Stearns did.
Carlos Mendoza did not sign Frankie Montas, David Stearns did.
Carlos Mendoza did not sign Jorge Polanco or trade for Luis Robert Jr, David Stearns did.
Carlos Mendoza did not make the decision to go into the season relying on players like David Peterson, Kodai Senga, and Sean Manaea, David Stearns did.
Someone had to be responsible and unfortunately it fell on Mendoza, but it is solely on David.
Just in: NFL is declining to hold a supplemental draft this summer, currently leaving the 2027 Draft as the only way for QB Brendan Sorsby to enter the NFL.
A letter is being sent to Sorsby, and to all 32 NFL teams, to inform them of the league’s decision.
The league continues to try to show it has little tolerance for gambling issues.
Aldon Smith as a rookie: 14 sacks (2nd most by a rookie in a single season in NFL history)
In his 2nd season: 19.5 sacks (most in a single season in 49ers history)
His 33.5 sacks through his first 2 seasons are the most by any player in their first 2 seasons.
Dominant. RIP.
Former #49ers pass rusher Aldon Smith died this morning in Northern California.
He was 36.
Statement from team:
“We are devastated by the sudden and tragic passing of Aldon Smith. Aldon’s undeniable talent and sheer dominance on the field were on display from the moment he joined our organization, having recorded one of the best rookie seasons the National Football
League has seen. Beyond his excellence as a player, Aldon will be remembered for his infectious smile that lit up every room he walked into. Our entire organization sends its deepest condolences to the Smith family and all who knew and loved Aldon.”
Shanahan is going to give CMC 500 touches next year and go to the Superbowl. Keep testing this fucking guy. Jake Tonges is going to get All Pro considerations, Jacob Cowing going for 1k and 11 Touchdowns. Guys going to bring back Deebo JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE.
Accounts keep posting this but the Cardinals QB tied the NFL record for pass completions in a single game ever last year... against a team in the division.
Several teams have reinvested into their rosters this off-season at a huge margin. My frustrations coincide with how certain accounts/creators change their outlook through social media currency.
80%, if not more of you, don't even really stand by what you post. Zero integrity.
The 49ers have already addressed the left guard spot, but personally, with the Rams' addition of Myles Garrett, I'd call Joel Bitonio and try to sign him to play left guard.
Within roster building you are always fighting (-/+ VS +/-)

The fact that so many are praising Draft Day player trades but conveniently leaving out #49ers adding Osa Odighizuwa.
They add a very good iDL Rusher and then Height in the Draft. That is over 100 pressures added in the off-season. Also, Bosa and Williams return.
@LombardiHimself 22.5% for Height, 19.2% for Lawrence in regards to pass rush win rate, both had similar run defense grades.
Height had 350 snaps, 17%(+), Pass Rush Grade, 92.7
Even if Height is older you cannot downplay that effectiveness vs snap percentage. 50+ pressures.
This team made amazing moves in the off-season. I disagree with content creators about it "not being enough". Additions, returning players. Purdy. #49ers
The Draft is the lifeblood of a team. So is Free Agency.
+Mike Evans
+Christian Kirk
+Osa Odighizuwa

Plus key iOL, TE, Special Team signings. Also, Raheem Morris as DC. #49ers
The NFC West was already arguably the best division in NFL history and now it's giving 1990s 49ers-Cowboys vibes — but with the arms race happening within a singular division.
Seahawks had a firm edge over both Rams and 49ers on defense. So we've seen LA and SF both invest heavily on that side this offseason.
The 49ers have entirely rebuilt their D-line outside of Bosa the past 16 months and gotten much deeper across the entire unit while the Rams have made two splash trades.
What a race this will be
Height discourse:
If this becomes a 5 Man Front on rushing downs, Height could be outside the LT, Bosa head up on the LT, Collins at NT/Shaded, OSA at DT, Williams at DE, you could have Warner/Greenlaw splitting time at 5-1 LB, and play matchup across the Secondary. #49ers
3 Division games in the first 5 weeks is crazy. They need to come out of Training Camp firing on all cylinders. That end of the year stretch is wild. #49ers
