Diogo Jota's wife, Rute Cardoso, has written a letter to Scotland captain Andy Robertson ahead of the World Cup.
She thanks Robertson for his friendship, and for preserving Diogo's memory. Robertson adds he'll have Jota at the forefront of his mind.🙏
Here’s my section of @WeAreTheOverlap talking about the Conference League Final win, Oliver Glasner’s legacy, what it’s meant to us as supporters and what’s next.
Hopefully I represented the club well. Cheers. ❤️🤝
Genuinely a bit sad reading this. This time last year I felt as if he would be here and successful for years to come
Feels the right move for both sides but a shame he never got a proper goodbye. I think he deserved that after everything that’s happened, both the highs and lows.
Will always be the man who brought us number 20. Will always love him for that
All the best Arne ❤️
Won the league and deserves enormous respect for doing so, but it feels like the right decision. It felt broken and it was best for him as well as Liverpool.
There are other fingerprints on the make-up of this squad, though, and it’ll be interesting to see what happens now in terms of Hughes and Edwards.
