Just hold block constantly and then hit whatever direction you need, only attack once and go back to blocking.

The issue I have is against multiple enemies, shit is ass.

The combat in #dawnwalker is absolutely terrible on the hardest difficulty, enemies clearly don't have stamina because all they do is spam the same fucking attack over and over until you have none left.
