Still unbelievable that Opusco hasn't won the NSMQ in recent years. They have had extremely smart individuals over the years. I don't know if it's a training deficit, psychological barrier or just the Opusco 'bozo gene'.

Take the Azantilow-led Opusco team that lost to Sonrise in the prelims or Stephen x John (subbed by Bismark) bottling an 8-point lead in the riddles against Ghana National in 2024 where they have literally thrown away contests from winning positions against relatively easier opposition.

My personal favorite though is Richmond. I tipped him to reach the final again in 2021 with PC and Presec but the balloting pitted him in the SF against Eden x Evans who were just too strong for him.

Noble x Richmond, 2020 and Stephen x John, 2025, Opusco should have at least won 1 trophy in those years
