And just like that, after a long 6 weeks, our time on #STDF24 comes to an end and it's time to head home. A good exercise that gave all our soldiers a chance to learn and develop. Now to get all the vehicles with no breakdowns 🤞

4 weeks into Ex STEADFAST DEFENDER and everyone is well into routine. @33RLC are on a constant churn to ensure supplies are received and ready to move forward as soon as they are needed whilst also making sure their vehicles remain camouflaged and hidden.

And with that, after months of planning and build up training, 4RLC have deployed on #STDE24.

Our recent deployment on Ex BLACK EAGLE gave REME plenty of work to do. The saturated ground saw vehicles repeatedly bogged in and assistance from REME was required to recover them. All good practice on the build up to #STDE24.

Today saw Lt Col Andy Gartside leave 4RLC as CO having completed his hand over.

Over his 2.5yrs as CO he has had a huge impact on the Regt and its people and we are immensely grateful for everything he has done.

We wish him all the best for the future and his next challenge.

We are delighted to announce the Army Cycling Time Trial Team for 2024. A strong mix of new talent and experienced returning team members who will be tackling all distances from 10 miles to 24 hours over the coming season.
