We had a fabulous finish to our Anglo-Saxon topic with a special visitor. Oswald showed us lots of artefacts, taught us how to fight in battle, answered all our questions and told us the story of Beowulf.

Today we have painted our pumpkins and finished our infinity rooms. They look fabulous.

This week it’s art week and in Year4 we are looking at the work of Yayoi Kusama.

This afternoon we looked at using line and tone in our artwork and drew Anglo Saxon artefacts. This is the start the children have made - very impressive detail! 😊

Year 4 have been working on a singing performance this half term. This afternoon they sang their hearts out all together.

This morning we learnt an Anglo-Saxon song to help us learn about where they came from and what village life was like.

We have made our own Anglo-Saxon style jewellery. We are very pleased with our creations.
