Grand Canyon National Park is hiring winter seasonal employees for the Trails Program! Trade triple-digit heat for crisp mornings, snowy canyon views, and rewarding work on one of the nation's most iconic trail systems.

There are no words I can muster through my tears to convey my feelings about Minus 33 Merino Wool in New Hampshire. I am speechless. They give back so much to our first responder family. Stay tuned on how and where these are being donated!

Angeles NF Firefighters are on scene of a dumpster fire on Hwy 39 near mile marker 19 in San Gabriel Canyon.

In addition Forest Service Law Enforcement and firefighters have already responded to fireworks in the canyon this morning.

If you see ANY fireworks or fires outside of campground/day use area fire rings please call 911.

Do your part to prevent wildfire.
As we celebrate 250 years of American independence, remember that fireworks are prohibited on public lands.
Possessing, igniting, discharging or using any kind of fireworks is prohibited on national forests and grasslands.

As the weather warms, Yellowstone's cold-blooded critters are becoming more active! The park is home to five snake species - but only one is venomous: the prairie rattlesnake. Give all wildlife space and stay alert on trails!

Before venturing to the park, be sure to check the current status of park roads! All park roads have opened for the summer season, but sometimes temporary road closures can occur due to inclement weather, unsafe driving conditions, or construction.
