18 hs in emerg -patient finally asks when he’s gonna see a dr. His massively infected hand went black. The Hosp had filled out discharge papers. Patient never saw a dr! Triage was redone - 6 more hrs waiting for Dr to deal with infection/stitches!

We 3 siblings had spent every waking hr at the hosp to advocate for an Alzheimer’s patient. One night after searching 2hrs for a nurse for assistance, I was scolded! Nurses orders were that the patient was to be checked on once every 12 hrs !

@WallStreetApes Costs in the US are crazy.. yet gvmt subsidized care is awful! . In Canada we pay a healthcare tax. Private coverage for common stuff not covered by the system is nuts..$600/mo for 2 ppl. Specialist appt 1-5 yrs wait. Energ visit can take 12 hrs just for a test to be preformed
