I recently started playing Expedition 33. I then updated DLSS 4 to DLSS 4.5, and noticed a visible degradation in image quality (to much sharpening), as well as performance hit (60 FPS -> 50 FPS; ~ -17%).
What happened? A thread. 🧵(1/8)

Needless to say that if just a single component of this "RTX Spark" malfunctions or becomes obsolete, you can throw away the entire PC and buy everything again.
E-Waste reinvented by NVIDIA and Microsoft.
NVIDIA has announced RTX Spark, a new chip for Windows PCs that combines the CPU, RTX graphics, AI hardware, and memory into a single package.
The company says RTX Spark can run modern games at 1440p and over 100 FPS in thin and lightweight laptops.
>It is an ARM-based chip that combines a GPU with performance similar to the RTX 5070.
>The processor includes a 20-core Grace CPU and 128 GB of unified memory.
>It delivers strong gaming performance, offering around 100 FPS at 1440p in modern titles like 007 First Light and Forza Horizon 6.
>The chip maintains good performance even on battery power in Windows laptops.
>It also features advanced AI capabilities.
>The RTX Spark is designed for both laptops and desktops.
>It is scheduled to launch in Fall 2026 as a joint effort between NVIDIA and Microsoft.
@BrodieOnLinux smh I can hammer GitHub on my Windows Dualboot on a VPN sharing my IP with dozens of users but don't I dare I open a single commit without VPN on my Linux system and this "secondary rate limit" strikes me immediately ._.
@spoxoid@NearestCommit I will agree that not having control over the Clientside was becoming an issue both in what can be accomplished in Minigames but also for means such as dealing with cheaters.
But atm Hypixel is already at the top so there isn't much incentive to improve there for them anymore.
@bee_fumo Having a system that builds on the concept of thousands of minimalistic packages that are optimized to do only one thing and doing it pretty well sounds good on paper.
But then we hear of yet another compromised package of supply chain attack every other day.
@Tenlox26 It's available on Global now, for one week as an AC Bundle (~3000 AC). It is sellable in Player Shop, but expect to pay at least 75 Mil for it.
PR Pose 5 has become available now on Global, after the EDWIN Collab never happened.
Many good poses, I might be quite addicted to the emote...

SEGA has cancelled its “Super Game” initiative, first announced in 2021.
The ambitious plan called for new AAA live-service online titles backed by an $800 million budget and a Microsoft Azure partnership.
>The project was officially dropped with no additional costs incurred.
>SEGA is shifting away from free-to-play live-service games toward premium full games and revivals of established IPs.
>Several previously announced remakes and updates remain on track, including Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven, and Total War: Medieval III.
> Announces Super Game in 2021
> No details, it just "Super Game"
> Still dumps $200 Million into it in 2024
> cancels Super Game in 2026
> re-allocates (all) employees from F2P Games into full game projects (rip NGS)
What is going on at Sega?
Today we announce a new policy:
In order to deport all illegal migrants in Britain, Reform will need to detain tens of thousands at a time.
Migrants will not be able to leave these detention centres, and each will be held there a couple of weeks before being deported.
So here’s our promise:
A Reform government will not put any migrant detention facilities in any constituency with a Reform MP.
Nor will we put them where Reform controls the council.
And of the remaining areas, we will prioritise Green controlled parliamentary constituencies and Green controlled councils to locate the detention centres.
Put simply, if you vote in a Reform council or Reform MP, we guarantee you won’t have a detention centre near you.
If you vote Green, there’s a good chance you will.
This is an important exercise in democratic consent, not just for our mass deportation policy, but for where the detention centres are placed.
Given Zack Polanski openly advocates for open borders, we look forward to their warm embrace of this policy.
@pso2harrian Discrepancy of educational content:
The people that need guides/info videos the most are the ones that aren't watching them. The moment you actively start looking for them, you already no longer part of the scope.
@kraven202 I appreciate your will to maintain faith in humanity, but I am afraid people are really just that bad.
That and I am convinced that Sega would not be capable in creating such bots anyway. Plus they had probably make them fill up dead content as well like TEQ.
