That black members of staff have been bullied, harassed and been painted with racist stereotypes. You as an organisation @NHSBT need to do better and it’s about time we had that conversation on how to be. End of the day black lives of sickle cell patients including my daughters
As a person that has #sicklecell myself, and having to jump through hoops to try and get the NHS to understand the importance of representation in recruiting more black blood donors to give blood, it’s very hard hearing that not only are we not being heard.
Hi @NHSBT I’ve been very proud of working for you and with you the past 8+ years in total but the latest headlines and news about racism and bullying towards black members of staff needs to be addressed ASAP. Enough is enough.
The founder of @blackbritishnet, @CephasWilliams, shares his view on the everyday racism and violence against black people across the world on #ChangeMakers.
Listen to his conversation w/ @michaelhayman this #BlackHistoryMonth

Catching up with the marvellous human that is @CephasWilliams - setting aside all he’s doing to lead change, some respect for being such a style icon too. That velvet tux 💥 #changemakers#IRL@ClaridgesHotel
Met the brilliant @CephasWilliams last night and was reminded of this video of his appalling experience of harassment and racism https://t.co/VZXVBxM87D Uncomfortable but illuminating viewing. Watch to the end…
It's OK To Be Upset, It's Not OK To Be Racist
This is our official campaign response to the racism toward Black people and the Black players from yesterday’s Euro Final.

Dear UK media, spotlight this racist behavior, condemn racism nationally and use your platforms to life up Black men for once. At a time where this country needs it most.
Use your platforms to bring about the unity this moment had the potential to give this country
Trigger Warning/Racist comments
It’s one thing to be upset about the loss, it’s another thing to be racist with those feelings. Everyone go support our Black men / brothers. @england speak up and bring unity in a moment where some will chose to channel their anger through racism
After all the unity this moment had the potential to bring. Comments like this and the general media coverage are the reason why we can’t stop speaking up.
Let’s change the narrative for life
Wow – another brilliant initiative from @CephasWilliams. One year on from the murder of #GeorgeFloyd, eight Black boys write an open letter to their older selves detailing the world they want to see. #BlackLivesMatter
A must see:
