@fordnation ✔️Nice that you met with former Liberal Prime Minister, however, you might have asked him advice on how to be better get along with Ontarians and opposition party members and stop devicive style politics on order to combat a common enemy. Now is the time to put country first.
I see MAGA North is out in full force to blame Canada yet again.
They side with Trump in threatening to block a massive new bridge paid for by Canada that *Trump approved and accelerated* in 2017 because of:
- The Canada-China tariff deal that Trump approved of on January 15, saying: “That's what (Carney) should be doing. I mean, it's a good thing for him to sign a trade deal. If you can get a deal with China, you should do that, right?”
- And because of dairy quotas which Trump agreed to when he signed the USMCA in 2020, calling it “the biggest and best trade agreement in history.”
And yet somehow these Canadians find a way to blame Canada.
These are the kind of stooges that Trump had in mind when he said in 2016 “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?”
If they hate Canada this much, why don’t they make asylum claims in the US, and put themselves at the tender mercies of ICE?
The math in this post is misleading.
You can’t divide total population by full-time private workers and call that economic collapse.
Every country has kids, retirees, students, caregivers, and part-time workers. Labour markets are measured by participation and employment rates, not “full-time only vs total population.”
Also, government workers (teachers, nurses, infrastructure, etc.) aren’t “non-productive.” They support the functioning of the private economy.
And AI studies usually talk about tasks changing, not 45% of jobs disappearing.
None of this means Canada is performing optimally.
Productivity growth has lagged, investment per worker is weak, and too much capital flows into housing instead of productive business.
Those are real issues worth serious discussion.
But panic math doesn’t diagnose real problems, it just creates noise.
Okay, Maple MAGA...
Here we go... I'm calling you out. Those of you that are supporting Trump and "rooting" for him over our country...
Explain this tweet. Tell me how this is accurate and how you support what he is saying here.
Let's see it. Let's see you back Trump and explain to us what you like about this.
Listen up Fuckface: The bridge exists, your facts don’t, and “ice hockey” will still be here long after you’re dead. Plus you’re a rapist & a pedophile and we all hate your fucking guts up here.
So, in closing, go fuck yourself you senile sack of shit.
@mario4thenorth Nope...he's an idiot.
Haven't you figured out that this thin skin lizard is a mental case on steroids.
It's all about payback and retribution, extortion and putting his name on someone else's work and achievements.
That's a more accurate interpretation.
I was just at my favorite coffee shop in the DTES, Di Beppe, when a man asked if I had any change for food.
I told him I didn’t have change, but I’d buy him something to eat.
Before I could even order, the woman behind the counter quietly made him a latte and handed it to him.
I said, “Wow, you got the coffee, I’ll take care of the food.”
Later she told me he comes in from time to time, and it hurts to see people struggle.
But what stayed with me most wasn’t the coffee or the food, it was how she treated him.
Not like a problem.
Not like a burden.
Just like a customer.
There are still so many good people in this world who care. And moments like this remind me why compassion matters!
@PierrePoilievre@ArpanKhanna@kyleseeback Employers pay out severance not the government unless the government happens to be the employer.
Employment and labour issues is provincial jurisdiction.
People have a god given right to be lazy, whining, poorly educated, nescient, fatuous...
It becomes a problem when this fringe minority attempts to shove their ignorance, cult, crimes, treason, & corruption down upon the public.
That should make any honest citizen's blood boil.
