Today I rolled out different ways of doing book discussions. Some groups used Meet. Other groups are working on reader's responses. Another group is doing a live document discussion - responding to a question and then responding to their classmates.

Madison has an amazing music program and talents were showcased from all across the district at the District Chorus Festival this evening. @StacyASnider

CAS 5th graders were visited by experts from Fort Ticonderoga who shared what life was like for soldiers in the American Revolution. Thanks to @FortTiconderoga and @MEFMadisonNJ for bringing this program to Madison!

Today students explored fractions as decimals and vice versa. Tomorrow we include mixed numbers and do even more practice with adding and subtracting fractions.
